Message from Assistant Principal Josh Topp

 

 

Dear Wolfpack Community,

                                        

My name is Josh Topp and I am excited to introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal at Centennial Middle School. I’m looking forward to working with all the students, teachers, & staff members to ensure we are providing the best educational experience for your child and family.

 

I have been an educator in the Crane District for 11 years. My first seven years in education were spent teaching 7th-8th grade math at Crane Middle School as well as serving as Math Department Chair, Team Lead, Student Council Advisor, Leadership Team, & Soccer Coach. Four years ago I joined the H.L. Suverkrup Elementary team as a 4th grade teacher and enjoyed serving in various roles as Co-Coordinator of 21st Century Program, Kids at Hope Ambassadors Advisor, & Camp Crane Summer School Coordinator. 

 

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing & Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2017 I completed the Master's in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University to earn principal certification in addition to being a member of the Crane District Leadership Academy. In 2012, I was named Yuma County's Outstanding First Year Teacher. In 2021, I was chosen by YumaSun's Biz Magazine as a winner of the 20 Under 40 Rising Star Award.

 

I am eager to work alongside the students, staff & families, of the Centennial Middle School community as we prepare our students to be productive citizens of the future.
